Humanitas 2007 Paso Robles Sauvignon Blanc
|
Our 2007 Sauvignon Blanc, like our 2006, is 'Oak Free', leaving nothing but beautiful, naked fruit to enjoy...and no splinters to pick out of your tongue. It is crisp, bright -- but this year, the fruit yields something less like the ruby-grapefruit, and more like lichee...or maybe a mild margarita mix (no salt, please!). Either way, it is delightful and easy to sip.
I'm enjoying this wine with grilled chicken marinated in a little olive oil, lemon & dill...or with shellfish. I also love it listening to one of my current favorites, Bob Schneider, a really talented Austin, TX singer/songwriter with a little edge to his lyrics. But that's just me. |
